About this site IDIDO.COM's purpose is twofold. First, to provide a place for our clients and potential clients to learn about our company. At IDIDO.COM they can see the latest samples of our work and contact us via email at info@idido.com
And second, to showcase original art and content designed for the web. The Comics and 3D sections of this site represent this kind of work. We hope to explore and share the creative potential of this new medium. |

Interactive Design in Cyber Time and Space Interactive Design, Inc is located in Seattle, Washington. From its beginning in 1988, the company's focus has been multimedia. In those early days, multimedia for personal computers was limited to hypertext. With the release of Hypercard about 1987 and the first multimedia version of Director about the same time; it appeared to us that multimedia would have a bright future. For the first time developers could create presentations and animation with integrated sound, graphics and interactivity. Storage was a bottleneck until the wide release of the CD-ROM players in the mid 90's. Then with 600 megabytes of digital work space, complex interactive programs could finally be made. Today, the multimedia world's attention has turned to the World Wide Web. Hypertext is back. Storage space is no longer a problem. Now it is file sizes and multiple implementations of the HTML standard that interfere. This will not be the last incarnation of multimedia. If past history can predict the future we should be learning to make multimedia in a new medium in very short time.
Here at the beginning of 1997 we are poised at an amazing moment in history. After ten years, Multimedia may still be in its infancy but it is growing and expanding at an exponential rate. The information age is being transformed from hype to actuality. The challenge is to present our assigned portion of the world's wealth of data within a clear and coherent design that complements its content and while enhancing the viewer's comprehension of that content. We are working to make a creative contribution to this new and emerging form of communication. |
